Here’s some new music from Mattrach. It sounds like a Joesat tune with his own flavor of bluesy riffs. I also liked the explosive ending where he just dives in and plays lightning-fast tapped notes, sending a flurry of notes into his amplifiers. Of course, I liked the rhythm section, which again reminds me of Joesat. Great song!

Watch Eddie Van Halen just letting it loose during a NAMM show in 2007(?).

I’m a fan of Joe Satriani (I wish he comes and play in my country soon).

Anyway, here’s a cover from “howaiti“, another Satch fan on YouTube. He’s Japanese and can really do great covers of my favorite guitar player.

Here’s a Brazilian guitar player, Fernando Miyata who plays an insane guitar. He combines classical, jazz, and rock styles — not to mention fast and yet melodic runs, sweep pickings, and two-handed tapping. I assure you, he can melt faces!

It seems there’s interest in Guitar gods found on YouTube. So I’m posting more discoveries. Here they are in no order of excellence. (All are great guitar players).
